FileDupeLess is a program that will search for files with the same content on your hard disks. By deleting duplicate files the user can recover disk space that is being occupied by redundant information. FileDupeLess compares file names, file sizes and checksums to find identical files, or, at least, files with the same content.
You can add local folders or network shares where the program will look for duplicated files, including subfolders. You can configure the filters that the program will use, restricting the scan to certain masks, specifying exceptions, establishing criteria to define the conditions that two files must meet to be considered duplicates. Once the scan finishes, the program will display the found duplicates in two columns. You can choose which files to delete, and you can tell the program to generate reports in CSV, Excel or HTML formats. The reports will contains links to original files, allowing you to review the duplicate files' contents in an easy and comfortable way.
The demo version of this program will shows just the first twenty-five dupes found. Trial period is unlimited.
